Is that the same as the Hollywood diet? If so, it's basically a "liquid" diet. You can probably get better results from taking MRPs.

No robert it is a Doctor made low carb diet that is kind of like Atkins but allows cabs after a 2 week layoff. Then you add wholesome carbs like multigrain breads brown rice etc....let us know how it goes..

I had a friend who lost quite abit of weight on the diet initially, but rebounded very quick. I assumed that she had lost mostly water weight. But then again I may be wrong. By the way what does your chest routine involve uk. Gotta get my wife to try it :)

After reading Mutt's input on the diet I realized I was wrong. I confused this diet with another one. This one that I spoke about was some kind of deal where you eat what you want for so many days and then restrict yourself for so many. Like I said she lost quite abit and had all of the ladies flocking around her getting in on it. Not sustainable however. Pity

Thanks, mutt. I never believed in the Atkins diet. I think that lowering carbs too quickly is not the answer to permanent weight loss. Gradually lowering carbs then increasing them periodically was the key to my rapid weight loss...and have kept the weight off for 2 years now.

I like it so far. I am not a fan of the Atkins diet....too much saturated fats and not carbs. The South Beach diet is full of healthy unrefined carbs...2 weeks of fresh produce and lean proteins, healthy fats, and low fat dairy. Slowly wholegrain foods are added back in. But no refined foods... But it doesn't mean you can't celebrate occasionally you just get back on track like with any plan. (last week was my b-day and I let loose with yummy foods)lol...but I am back at it....tonnes of great tasty recipes to try.....
