space shuttle

Just wanted to say that an hour ago I heard what seemed like a door slamming and something falling on the floor. I looked out the window and then downstairs but,,,I had no idea it was the effects of the explosion over Texas of our space shuttle. Prayers for a moment for the astronauts and their family.

I am just now hearing about it! What a terrible tragedy. As you say, a moment of silence for all involved.

It reminds us just how damn dangerous being a pioneer in a frontier really is; makes me remember not to take things like the space program for granted as well.

Horrible accident.. they are heros. I hope this does not discourage the space program. I also heard the boom, it shook the walls but I didn't even know the shuttle was landing.. we can normally view it over Dallas. I thought it was a transformer blowing or something.

It was a terrible sad nightmared relived as I remember being in school watching the Challenger take off with the first school teacher on board and then seeing it burst into flames. So many of us go on with our day to day life as other, like these magnificent people, put their lives at stake exploring new opportunities for a brighter future for all. They were selfless and giving! I was speechless as I watched all morning. Let's continue to prayer for all of those families, mothers, fathers, brother, sisters, sons, daughters, aunts, uncles, close friends and beloved, for they have a mighty journey ahead, not only that day.
