I was on the westside barbell site and I came across a new article. The article was saying how they change their exercises on speed day. For example, Floor Press on dynamic day and also incline and decline press for speed work. And also speed bench off power rack pins. Is this something recent? Check out for yourself in the article section of the westside barbell site.

I know its not recent, but it is one of the first articles i've read on it. I have used the speed bench off power rack pins because that helps with explosive strength, without utilizing the stretch-reflex.

Let me know how you like them. My personal favorite variation is off the power racks, because I like the feel that I get when the stretch-reflex is taken out. It feels different when you have to get the bar moving from a dead stop.
