Well, ive only been going hardcore at it for about a month and a half (never worked out a day in my life before that) and then i found out it is not healthy to work out the same muscles everyday. Im just curious as to how many times i can work out any speicific muscle per week? Im gonna try and work with the plan this site generated me and im gonna try to fit in some more time for specific muscles, working out specific muscles only once a week seems a little bit off for me...
Oh, thank God i love tuna :)

I would follow the FT plan. It is set up for a reason, it will work. Rest when it says to.

yea, it seems like its not a lot working out a specific muscle once a week(in my case) so thats only working out that muscle 8 times! but im following it and hoping it will work!

Probably the strangest thing you'll experience is taking a week off after a period of intense training. You'll grow and be stronger when you get back to training. Its hard to give it up, even for a week, but you'll be glad you did.

I personally like the 5 day rest thing, work the muscle again on the 6th day. I have found that over the years of training, this is optimal for me. My bodypart is rested and ready to go in this time. Some like 7 days. It is really up to you in a way to find what works best for you. Some can recuperate faster, some need more time. FT gives a standard, which works for most. Experiment, but don't ever do more than twice per week.
