Hi all, since you have been so helpful, I have another question that I didn't see answered in any other post or the FAQ part.

My routine was suggested by the FT site for home training without machines. Since the routine usually takes me about 45 -60 minutes, I wanted to know if it is okay to split it up, and how to do that. It is 8 different exercises, all of them 4 sets of 15/15/12/10 reps. I am assuming that doing 4 exercises in the morning (and the rest in the evening), incl. all recommended sets and reps would be better than doing only 2 sets of all 8 twice a day.

Any input is appreciated!

I would think that 4 exercises in the morning and 4 in the evening would be ok. I would not do the 2 sets of all 8

I agree with atiger. How many days a week do you do weights? Are you doing any cardio? Make sure you get plenty of rest and depending on your goals, keep in mind all the exercise needs a healthy diet to go along with it:big_smile:

Thanks guys! I am doing 3 days of weights so far, Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I signed on saying I would like to do 4 days of exercise, because at my current lifestyle (raising kids, being very active in my dog club), more is just setting myself up for failure.... although it has been hard for me to resist the urge to grab my weights and just do extra stuff, I love the way it makes my body feel, and I love the energy I get after lifting weights....
I do cardio at least 3 times a week for 30 minutes, which includes the dog agility training I mentioned in another post, and intervall running/walking the dogs. I am a vegetarian, so I get an abundance of fresh fruit, veggies and salads as is. I think I just need to work on the portion sizes.
