I went to a Ski Expo and they were giving away samples of Sportlegs. The claim is that if you take the pills one hour before exercise that the pills help you from feeling the burn of lactic acid build up. They claim that they "use" the lactic acid for energy. I know they contain calcium and magnesium.

Could these pills actually work. I will be trying the samples the next time I go skiing.

I have heard that plain old TUMS do the same thing.
