What do you think of Starbucks Coffee? I heard that caffeine helps to rev up your metabolism but I know that Starbucks and other chain restaurants may have a lot of sugar in them.

My personal opinion coming from the Emerald City 9Starbuck's creator) itself, compared to some of the little java stands around, not sure what is available in your area, but Starbucks rates up there big time as one of the highest in sugars. I cannot stand their mocha's, something about the chocolate, but if you have a non-fat latte (which is basically made up of espresso, steamed water and milk) you should have no problem in the sugar arena unless you add that yourself. If you do, try splenda as a substitute, works great.

I just get the regular old coffee, no cream no sugar. I think that is about the same as any other chain from what I gather.

My fiance loves the white chocolate mocha which equals sugar, cream, sugar, and expresso, oh ya and sugar. If you just want the caffeine for the jolt, then stick with regular black coffee.

I also usually just buy the regular coffee, nothing added. If I feeling like being bad I'll have a double espresso con pana--3 shots of unsweetened espresso with whipped cream on top.
