Hello All

Im new to body building iv'e only been training for 4 months on and off,I started with a ketogenic diet lots of protien 1g/1lb and next to nothing to no carbs apart from 1 day a week were i'd splurge on as much carbs as poss,ok so now I have lost the beer belly well almost ;-) and im pretty thin 210lbs and 6,1ft tall and I want to gain mass so im still taking all the protien a day as i was before about 250-300g but also trying to have as close to 500g of carbs as well to bulk up.My question is what can I expect will I gain a lot of mass in say a 2 month period but also get fat again around the midsection? and as for carbs does it matter say if I eat choclate and ceral drink jusice etc etc to help me bulk up or are there things that are a no no even if trying to eat 500g of carbs a day?

Thanks to all who reply

Dino.

Well the best way to gain weight is to eat 5-7 good meals a day. I do not know what you calorie goal is, but just eat foods high in protein, good sources of carbs like rice yams and veges. Drink a lot of water and hold on! good luck!!
