You would think a 38 year old man should know this but when doing exercise sets do you do the first set of each exercise of the day before you start the second set? Or do you do each set of each exercise with rest between each set? Example... lets say I have a training outline with three different chest exercises, do I do set 1 of exercise one, set 1 of exercise two, and set 1 of exercise three and go back to set 2 of exercise one and so on? Please help clueless!!!
complete one exercise then go on to the next thats what i do

it depends...if your goal is strength or size gains then you're better served finishing one exercise before moving on to the next....but if you're short on time or your goal is more strength endurance or anaerobic conditioning then combining exercises is fine..
