Yep, not really a newbie at this stuff. Started a million times before and looking for that one little push to keep me going this time. Need friends and buddies quick!!!:big_smile: I could use some extra support from anyone willing to supply. I get very depressed at my failures and don't intend to fail this time! Stay strong everyone.
Typically 'failures' stem from not seeing results when you feel you are doing everything right. What one has to be aware of is contrary to typical print media that expouses lose 1-2 lbs. weekly, you do not normally see this after being into it for a while. Weight loss nor muscle gain is not linear, no matter what you read. What happens is an 'average' time. You may go 4-6 weeks with strict diet and exercsing, and not see any results visibly. Then all of a sudden in the 7th week you will have a 4 lb. loss. Many folks give up and quit just about the time they are finally going to make that breakthrough. The key is to keep the blinders on, that is stay the course and stay focused on the end result, and block out everything else. You know at some point if you are doing everything correct, you will break out of that stall.
