I have recovered all of my weight from being anorexic 2 years ago but all the while have tried (for whatever reasons) to keep my workouts at about 1 hour and 20 mins of cardio and then 15 mins of resistance training. I have also not consumed 1200 calories a day since my recovery. Given this amount of exercise one would think that I would be stick thin but at 5'8" I am 140lbs as I have always been even without exercise, diet, or an eating disorder. I googled the issue and starvation mode came up but I wanted a bit more of a professional opinion. If this is starvation mode then how do I get out of it without totally losing my progress (ie gaining a lot of weight)? It's so frustrating!
