im fairy new at this eating healthy lifestyle. I run 3 days a week for 30 minutes, and try to do weights the days i don't run. We don't have any sweets in the house, and eat mainly organic. My trackers says to eat 1900 calories, but i usually never get over 1300. Is that a problem? will that stop me from losing weight? (I definitly haven't been losing any!) As well if you could give me some ideas of what to snack on during the day! Fruit or Veggies don't always cut it! thanks!

Yes, too low a calorie intake will more than likely cause metabolic slowdown, lowered thyroid output...the bodies reaction to what it percieves as starvation.

There a lot a lot of alternatives. I'd suggest you browse the thumb tack posts in the nutrition forum to get some ideas. You'll find that most of us eat multiple small meals rather than just fruit or veggies. From your caloric intake as you've already seen, you won't lose weight but will increase your body fat with. If your over deprive your body, your metabolism slows down so that it can store as much as possible.
