	2004/06/09, 08:03 AM Your instincts were right; certain sports won't stimulate growth. I remember reading through that thread in the past, and somehow that comment flew under the radar. Basketball and volleyball players are tall because they are sports that favor taller people with the 10' rim and 9' net. Shorter people, therefore, tend to get pushed out as you move up in the ranks of these sports. timmstar Posts: 426 Joined: 2003/12/08	2004/06/09, 03:26 AM hey i read in this post http://www.freetrainers.com/FT/jsp/Message.jsp?f_ix=1&t_ix=1657 if that link works by some guy talking about sports such as basketball or volleyball stimulate height growth is this actually true i kno alota basketball players r lanky and shit but i didnt think it actually would stimuatel growth... anyway if it is can i have some sorta reason or definition of it or how if not dont worry but was wondering other then these sports is there any such other sport or exercises that can stimulate height growth, or food source that could...? as far as that post i put in b4 it was talkin bout weights stunting ur growth at young age but ive grown an inch in height since ive started so it aint stuntted it just recently turned 17, but yea some exercises that stimulate height b kool wanna b lyk 6 foot lol 3 inch's to go.. haha
