Hello,
I noticed that when I get hungry or eat too much sugar I get a pain on my left side besides my belly button. Has anyone else every experienced this?

That is where your stomach is located. Try eating more often and skipping the sugar. I can feel water entering my stomach when I drink it. Have you noticed this. I think it is kinda weird.
-------------- It's not what we eat or drink occasionally, but what we consume on a daily basis that determines our ongoing level o health.

I eat 5-6 times a day and it has just been recently that I have felt pain in my left side from eating what I think might be too much sugar.

What do you think is too much sugar lucyladybug? And what kind of pain is it? Real bad? Just a slight pain? Sure it doesn't have to do with the normal female thing?

It might just be your food settling. Does it make grumbling sounds? Has it ever done it before? If not go to the doctor. ;) And try it cutting out the cookies. It could be a million things. hehe

I don't mean to be crude but I get stomach pain after sugary snacks too...but then it's usually (I mean always) followed by gas. I avoid sugar...have to it's not very lady like to fluff.
Hunger pangs are normal...I think. Just means you gotta eat.

I think I have what you get taurie. The only thing that scares me though is that it is only on my left side of my navel. Tonight just before dinner I had a glass of red wine and had that pain and then followed by gas and then I had dinner. Starting last Monday I began cutting out sugar, what willpower this is taking for me. But it is pigging out or having stomach pain. I guess I just thought I was inevitable but I am not.

hehehe Maybe it is the sugar. Make some cookies at home and use sweet n low instead of sugar and see if that helps anything, if not it might be the milk or whatever else is in the cookies. Who knows you may have gallstones however you spell it. My sister had pains in her stomach like that but the pain was so bad she was cryign and doubled over. Don't know what it is girly. Go to the doctor if you keep worrying about it! ;) The doc won't bite ya!

I am going to make an appointment to see the doctor, it isn't pain where I am doubled over, it is just discomfort. I have almost totally cut out sugar except for natural and I am doing better.
