I was doing the Straight Leg Deadlift today and it says its mainly for the legs but I was feeling it more in my lower back and abs area when I lifted up.

I'm not sure if I did them properly though. What I was doing was straightening my body from the hips, while holding the barbell near my groin, and then lowering my waist till I was parallel to the ground then raising back up. Is that right.

Is it normal to feel it more in the abs and back?

And sorry to bring up another subject but I'm still feeling kind of sceptical because this site seems too good to be true.

I'm not fat, but looking for some definition. My BMI is 22 so I'm good and healthy. I'm currently on the 12 Weight Losing and definition training program offered by the site. I've only be going for 2 days now, and I'm giving my arms and legs and lower back some really good workout now. Has anyone else done this program, and did it work out well, and give definition?

I'm trying my best, and doing all that I can. I only have free weights, a ball, and a bench so I can only do the things that do not require machines. What do you think?

I only have what you've mentioned as well... works for me! Although I'm sure I would have been more successful if I would have spent more time keeping an eye on my diet....

Yes, this site is for real...

As for the SLDL's, I used to feel it in my back more, too, but them I really focused on using the hams to lift up... after doing that, I've noticed the ache in the legs the next day more than in the back...

I know it did something to my legs. I have a pretty shaky walk right now... Lol, only because it's tired.

That program works real well.
TRy lowering the weight for the dead lifts. And like Tim said...
Use the hams.
This site rocks.
