hey everyone, im 16 years old goin on 17. i've been an avid lifter for about 2 maybe 3 years. Im 6'2", 245 lb, and i bench about 280 or so. My arms on the other hand reached a plateua over a year ago. They were about 16.5 atleast i liked to think, they were really prolly 16.25 tops. They havnt grown for a year, and then a month or so ago i had a major shoulder dislocation that had me out of the gym until now. I thought i lost so much size, im just lifitn agian and i got my perpetual pump back, I LOVE IT, i measured my arms ready to see 15.5 or so cuz i've been out for over a month but instead the measurment was over 17.25 incehs. I was so excited i measured it 10 more times and it was the same. How oculd my arms, which were unchanged for over a year suddenly grow 3/4 of an inch!!!???

Maybe they finally got the rest they needed. Or, they could have more fat marbled into them.
Either way, y9u have big guns for your age, keep up the good work!

What was your diet like when you were off? Did you gain anywhere else?? Good weight, bad weight? This is the key to what happened, rest and diet.

thanx asimmer. but neway thats just the thing to both your comments. although my diet wasnt great i was still getting a little bit of muscle action in rehab for my shoulder. The thing is though that my bi's are actually as cut or even cutter than they were. They are solid and my peak is really really up there. I considered it being fat but then i noticed that they were just as defined. It's gotta be the rest that i needed. IM GONNA TAKE MONTHS OFF MORE OFTEN!!!

I grow each year about 1/2 to a inch to my biceps on ave sometimes it is less and others it is more. The key is that I usualy take(forcedto by money more times than not) a month off every 6months or so. It is hard i hate it but it works rather well. Make sure you are hitting them hard and as heavy as you can with good form and let them rest. Remember that they get work on back as well.

Not wanting to put a damper on your progress but when did you measure them? I bulk up massively when I’m in the gym from the blood flow to the muscles. I know my arms increase by well over an inch when pumped. If your measurements were taken the same way; congrats on the progress.
