Actually, it depends on your fitness level as to if you want to use weights or not. I personally don't, kind of use them if I do them at all with just a bar or broomstick or something similar. I really don't value them much. But, a full rep would be a full twist, from left to right, or right to left.What I do when I do them is like if I am on # 41, I would be counting, to myself, 40, then finish the word one when I am fully on the other side.
