Trying again to give up sugar but have found it particularly difficult this time. Any hints?

Eat natural sugars like fruit, organic honey etc. Take your time and make slow changes.

Not going to well with the sugar yet Geezer. It's an addictive poison isn't it ? I have done it before and will succeed again but it's always hard for the first few days. I'm a comfort eater so that doesn't help.

Marathon....cut it slowly and substitute natural sugars from fruit. Hell our silver queen corn that we grow is so sweet it qualifies as a dessert. You might like huicing. A good juicer, fruits vegies honey and you can get a sugar fix with the kind of sugar that your body can actually burn for fuel.
Moment of eating zen. A sweet potato us a much better choice than a white potato for a hundred reasons. But most people don't realize that your body burns more calories digesting sweet poatoes than the sweet potato has calories. Read that last sentence again and again until you cry out "holy shit !!! There are foods that burn more calories during digestion than they possess. Learn whicfh foods have that property. Try to eat more of that.

You're right Geezer, It's time this stuff is taken more serious. I'm eating too much crap and it has to stop NOW. Going to investigate a lot more about good food and going to get off my lazy arse and start cooking some good stuff. Like the way you approach this. No nonsense, it is as it is. Thanks.
