"Las Vegas - a million miles from nowhere, and three feet from Hell."

Last night, a severe heat warning was issued for the Las Vegas area - we're going to pushing 120 starting this afternoon through at least Thursday. And our humidity has been hovering less than 10%. :surprised:

Yeeeeeeeeee Haaaaaaaaaaawwwwww!! I love it out here! Time to get out the 3 gallons of water....

Dry heat sounds good to me. In Toronto today it is 37C (40C=100F) and with the humidity it is well over 40C. I think the humidity is about 99.9% today!!! Won't be doing any running outside today! Last night at 11pm it was still 34C (over 90)..and it's supposed to get hotter all week---bring it on--beats the hell out of -20 in the middle of January!!!

Thankfully I have A/C inside and a swimming pool out back:big_smile:

I've heard (heard) that when its like that out there it's dangerous to use the AC in your car, becuz of the threat of it overheating. if this is true, you have my deep sympathy!

Come visit my family in Oceanside when your ready to beat the heat Rev8Ball. Cali coast is mild and breezy!

Our area is usually 90 degrees and 80% humidity this time of year. It's alot like living in a steam bath only they arrest you for going nekid. It's the bible belt, what can I say. Air conditioning is the most important thing for survival here.

I don't know where you live Charlie, but I live in CT. Our temperature/humidity is basically the same as yours....I keep my office so cold with the ac, the guys out in the shop tell me I could hang meat in here.:laugh:

I would love for it to be 90 with 10% humidity...that would be nice....

We have the nasty humidity here, too. Sucks for asthma.

I am moving in with the rev8ball:)

I welcome anyone to come to Texas this time of year. www.accuweather.com says it'll be High of 99F, "Real Feel" is 114F (that's about 75% humidity) and it's still early in the summer yet. If ya'll would come down here about mid August and flip us over...we should be done about then.

I don't know about you guys, but i've been stuck in Kuwait. The hottest place in the world, literally. THe past three days it has been 130 degrees. I haven't seen a place on the world map on the weather channel any hotter. Even counting Africa.

That's great, Ron. Let me know. But you should really head out here a few weeks earlier - for the O!

"Nothin but a heat wave" here in Montreal. Hit 109 with the humidity here last Tuesday! High 90's again! Rather ride a Sea-doo, than a Ski-doo!
