hello to all...i am seeking a healther life style. i am 150lbs. and wanting to get bigger! i previously worked out for 22 months, started in 1998, but have not done so since 2000. now i have started up again and i am looking to see results as fast as i can. from 98 to 00 i put a inch and half on arms and chest with no supplements. my max on bench machine were 340 one rep. now i want that back with more mussle mass utilizing supplements. been thinking of taking....protein powders, creatine, glutamine, and aminos...but just being a advanced beginner and never taken supplements before, i would like to know what would be a good start?....looking forward to hearing useful info.......HAPPY TRAINNING TO ALL!!

Protein, creatine, and glutamine are really the only supplements you need to support a good diet and weight training program. Don't get caught up in all of those new bullcrap supplements. Stick with the basics and you will continue to grow. Good Luck.

Good news kwalters, good to see you are getting control of your body again. I wouldn't hit the supplements right off the bat. Get back in to your routine, then see what you need. The only supplement I would start with would be protien and a good multi-vitamin seeing you are experienced but at the beginning stages of building up.Then add the glutamine etc, depending on your needs. Like Dahayz said stick to the basics and don't get fancy. Good luck in the rebuilding.

The supplement forum has a lot of good and useful info. like how much you need to take and when and all that kinda stuff...check it out...you might find it interesting
