Never supplemented before, just some creatine when I was in high school, would like a general idea of what kind of supplements would be beneficial to helping me with definition and tone? Am also dieting strict to lose 5-10 lbs. (2200 C/day? are whey, creatine, good places to start or amI way off? Like I mentioned really a novice when it comes to supplementation. Thanks for any responses. have a good day.

Hey there Newbreed. Yep I'd say creatine and some whey or isolate protien is a good foundation. (I honestly don't see a need for any more than that) Don't fall for the gimicks that make wild promises. If you don't already.. a multi vitimin is a good idea. That, along with a good diet will give you everything you should need. Then it's time to start the real work! The gym!

L-Carnitine seems to be good as well.

Before you get any of that nobody has mentioned the one basic necessity. A good multi-vitamin.
