Does anyone know of some good protien supplements for women? I need something that gives me energy. I am currently taking B complex,Q10, and grape seed extract...this does not seem to be enough for the energy, and i want to make sure that I replinish my muscles with what they need.

I saw your symptoms from your other post and one thing that i would try for a week or so is this. When you asked for more protein supplements, you might want to replace that with a high protein solid food. Im not sure what your layout of food/supps are. (mine is 8am food,10am supp,12pm food,2pm supp,4pm snack, 6pm food, and either food or supp around 9pm. The word food in this is defined as a medium to normal sized meal of chicken, steak, etc. and snack is usually like yogurt and nuts or somthing. and of course supp is a myoplex shake.) anny ways if your like me you need more protein in a solid form (food), i also dont feel great on just supps. I would just alter the layout of what your eating and mix it up. -snow

I really like your ideas...the only problem that I have at the present time is that I am seeing a nutritionist and she has me on the set type of diet (eating from the food pyramid). I really want to try the protien food and supplements but I think my main problem is where do I fit them into this program that I am already on. She has eating 1900 calories a day..8 carbs, 2 protien, 2 dairy, 10 fat, 4 fruit, and 4 vegetables. Thanks so much for the help!-krys

Talk to your nutritionist Krystal and share your concerns with her/him. I am sure they can give the professional advise better than any.(that's what they get paid for lol)

I agree with erin...

I take protein..and have just started taking creatine....however..still don't know if it will help at all...just trying it. I also supplement with Myoplex...

I am always looking for great supplements that are safe for women to take....so keep them coming!!!
Thanks!!
