Is it better to run outdoors when its warm and you sweat a lot more, or is it better when its cold outside and you don't sweat as much? Do you still burn the same amount of calories? I usually jog for about 45 minutes either way but feel like I got a better workout on the warm days.

Sweat is just your bodies way of regulating temperature. The more you sweat the more water you're loosing and therefore the more hydration you'll need. It really doesn't make much difference as far as burning calories. Actually, you're more likely to have a boost in metabolism in extreme cold, just because your body is fighting to keep warm (shivering etc.)
