Today my after work-out protein drink was a little different.Instead of mixing it with milk i used chocolate milk.I combined 500 ml of chocolate milk carton and added 30-35 grams of protein powder which upped the protein to 46 grams and put in 8 grams of creatine and 60 grams of carbs. What a rush. Now i am never gonna use plain milk again! Can't wait till i get a mixer cuz then i am gonna add fruit especially banana's for thier natural glutamin.

I don't think I quite understand. What differences did you notice between chocolate milk and regular? I'm guessing the only real difference is that there's more sugar in chocolate milk, which could be emulated by increased carbs with regular milk. Also, I have yet to see fat free chocolate milk, and fat in your PWO drink will slow down the assimilation of the protein. I'm not sure I understand. Also, glutamine is an amino acid and as far as I know it does not exist in bananas. Even if it did, considering that a banana contains a negligible amount of protein, the amount of glutamine in them would be insufficient for any sort of boost.

OOOOOOHHHH! I see. I thought you were saying that you thought you got better recovery from chocolate milk. Geez, I'm sorry. I guess I wasn't thinking outside of my box. I understand now. What type of powder do you use. I mix my chocolate whey with regular milk all the time and I think it tastes just like mixing it with chocolate syrup. Is your chocolate milk fat free, though? The increase in absorption time still applies if it is not.
