I am doing the 12 week program for weight training and ab training, on my days of rest should I be doing cardio bike or treadmill, I notice I can burn more calories in a shorter period of time than the treadmill...does this matter which machine I use?

Alternate which one you use and your intensity levels. It is good to use a variety of types of cardio so your muscles don't adapt and to keep yourself interested.

So, if I do aerobics, is that for cardio?

Yes aerobics would be considered cardio
