The Birth Control PATCH Weight Gain???

I was on the depo shot and now I am on the patch. Has anybody gained any weight on the PATCH???? TLB

The depo shot is medroxyprogesterone acetate and it acts as an appetite stimulant and is still occassionally used (mostly in its oral form)for chemotherapy patients to stimulate weight gain (so in theory you have control over the weight gain by eating less than you feel like you want). The contraceptive patch has a different progesterone and should not have this same side effect. But we are all biological entities and anything is possible!
