Ledger owned that character and with his death, i believe they will just let the character stay gone. If they try to bring someone else in that role, it will lessen that movie. Asimmer, get ready to be overwhelmed.

But something I've been debating with people is whether the joker is gonna be in the next one or not. I think he kinda has to be with the way the story is goin but other people seem to think that they won't be able to top heath ledger's performance, which I agree with, and there won't have a joker at all. Just wanted to see what everyone thought about and anything else in the movie. -------------- Josh Morris

colton_canava Posts: 1 Joined: 2008/02/21	2008/07/21, 05:17 PM The movie fulfilled all expectations, and the fact that "two-face" was portrayed the way he was was amazing to. I expected the movie to finish with Harvey in the hospital plotting his revenge. I wasn't truly convinced his charchter was dead either til the funeral. Now as for the Joker, Heath Ledger has outdone any performance I have ever seen. To transform from himself into a true villain must have been a hard task. He made this movie for me. Joker is the classic Batman rival. On any upcoming joker appearances I find that it will be hard to avoid an appearance from joker, honestly I could see the true heath underneath the makeup and all a few times in the movie. With a little "movie magic", another good actor, and possible voice over it is definitely plausible that this is not the end of the Joker. And the movie has been open to this as well.

I'm thinkin' it's gonna be one of the females cuz he's gotta have a love interest. I also think it'll be poison ivy before catwoman. The movie was really good, heath Ledger was the best Joker...got a little tired of Christian Bale's batman voice by the end... the scene with the semi was friggin awesome. I have only one question... Why Maggie Glylenhall???she looks like ET.

I bet two face will be back also.
