theres some weird flavors! Wish you could find a place that sells them by the packet so you can order a bunch of different flavors to try them out. Have to do some research on those products now!

OK..this question is for the pro's, not the armchair bodybuilders (and please no responses from the sac swingers or groupies). I would like to see the following answered. I have searched this board and have found more different answers than their are members it seems. I would like to see the following answered for all the newbies out there. Please give and answer and what you have to back it up if aplicable.
1. What type of protien shakes should be used at what times?
2. When should you use water and when should you use milk?
3. Is it 1g per LB or KG of body weight?
4. How long is the protien is a state thats usefull after mixing?
5. Whats YOUR favorite recipe using WATER and MILK for a shake?
I wanted to have something that was in one place that answered this once and for all. Seems like alot of the answers I found when doing a search were all just people fighting. NO BS here folks..keep it to the answers YOU feel are right. And by "no armchair" lifters I mean the ones who wouldnt know nutrition if it slapped them in the face, that just spout off what they read on a website and think they know things..and sac swingers are the groupies on here that if their "person" told them chopping their pinkie off would help them lift better they would do it. NOT starting any flame wars or crap..so PLEASE answer the question to the BEST of your ability and if you want put in what brand/flavor of Protien your using (I use ON 100% Whey Vanilla..love it, want to try some different brands/flavors)

Codygrizz, I use water to mix my protein after my workout. Water helps it get through the system quicker. One would use milk for more calories and slower digestion.
It's best to kae a posta workout shake within a max of 45 min after training. b
Before bed, I like to have more protein (of cousre, this is all apart from my regular meals)and I have it in the form of low fat cottage cheese. This takes longer to digest and keeps me through part of the night.
1 gram of protein per pound of bodyweight is recomended for a person who moderately trains.
I use 3 types of supplements for protein, always with water, here they are:
MRP- champion nutrition
Protein- supp-BioX extreme whey Isolate
Protein-Syntrax nectar
One doesn't nee to use all 3, I just like to spoil myself once in a while. My main keeper is the biox.
Sorry, no recipes.

Most reliable pro shops will take back (exchange) a product for you if the taste isn't to your expectations. And some give sample envelopes. The one where I shop at is always giving me freebies to try, and I even changed 2 lbs of a certain product.
