I'm not new to this place, but this time around, I'm completely motivated and dedicated to getting into shape. The one problem I run into is my third shift job. It's very hard to set a healthy sleep, eating and exercise routine. The good part is my work offers a 24 hour gym. I hear a lot of people say it's best to exercise in the morning, but not sure if they actually mean in the am or when you wake up??? Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated =0)
wwechick-
I've found myself in a very very similar problem- i work 4am-1pm, and also am taking 2 classes for June. I'd always read its best to exercise in the morning as well- too get your metabolism up for the day, etc. But after reading alot of threads here on ft, it seems that you have to go by what your body tells you, as well as when you can work it in. Personally, I hit the gym at 2pm nearly every day. It hasn't affected my sleep either- I feel refreshed after 4 hours. I know- not enough sleep by doctors standards, but it works for me. So in short, exercise when you feel best!!! Hope that helps
