I was hoping there was a website like this out there somewhere. You guys are really life savers, and I can't express my gratitude enough. Thank you. I am a 21 year old male, 6ft/177lbs. My goal is to get down to 165lbs, tone up my body, and gain lean muscle, because I have basically no muscle mass. I don't have access to a gym right now, so I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on what I could do to help me reach my goals, and speed up my progress.

Thanks,
Eddie

Welcome to our site AllStar77489, glad to have you. If you go under FT Exercise Resources, the drop down menu will lead you to "training at home", which has some great info for you to do at home with no weights. It will set up a routine for you to do at home. When you get access to weights, then simply go in and change it. Good luck to you, and we are happy to have you! Again, welcome.

the training at home exercises are what i was doing before i got on this site, i also do burpees - a exercise popular in some prisons (not that i have been to prison). 10 sets starting with 10 reps and declining down to a 10th set of 1 rep. these are great for total body workout and cardio. nutrition will play a major role in acquiring muscle mass. with aerobics you lose fat and some muscle if you dont do strength trainging and dont have decent amount of protein in your diet.

Thanks everyone, I really appreciate it. By the way, Bdipab, what are burpees? That sounds like something that might help me out greatly. Again, thanks everyone.
