Quick Question For Yall,

I have always wonder what sort of timing I should have with my workouts.

As for example...

Exert Force- slow (not to slow, say 2 seconds)
then bring the weight back down and pause for 2 seconds
start again

is this right?:surprised:

well alot depends on just wany thing lol......You should press all weight from a dead stand still, or at the full length of the muscle. As you contract it should not be quick( unless your training for speed) But it shouldn't be that slow either. I realy don't count, but usually the heavier the weight, the slower I have to go on the way up, cause of coarse it weighs more lol. The decent to me should take roughly aboutequal or twice as long as the ascent to get a good negative. hope this makes sense
