So yesterday I was really tired and hungry all day. I worked out pretty hard on Monday and Tuesday, did cardio for 30 mins each day- then Wednesday came- rest day on the weights, did my 30 min cardio and was so tired all day I could barly keep my eyes open. I also kept craving weird things like muffins (I don't really like muffins). So I pretty much pigged-out went to sleep early (like 8:00pm) and feel fine today. Any idea what happened? I was wondering if I should get some kind of protein supplement for after working out? Or maybe eat something specific?

There could be several things at play here. From your profile, you stated you recently quit smoking. That could explain your hunger. However, as you intensify your workouts, your body will demand more food for energy.
As far as after working out, you could do with either a protein supplement or protein-rich food. Do this within 45 minutes post workout. Good luck!

You might want to add in a multi vitamin and about a gram of vit c.
