To answer your question IMO, oats, hands down.

Oats are a great pre workout food. A hint to you, on a TKD, here is a great way to figure your carb amount for glycogen replenishment.
Sets/2 * 5. For instance if you do 20 sets, you would need 50 gr. of carbs around your workout. Will work nicely.
