I primarily do the Zone diet but on occasion, I do Atkins if I need to quickly shed some pounds. However, I wanted to go back to low carbing so I was thinking of doing TKD. I've tried researching the diet on the web and I've got the basic gist of it. I've figured that on a CKD you have to schedule your training around your diet. But I haven't seen this 'requirement' with TKD. Now my question is, my current schedule is to do cardio when I wake up and then do my weight training after work. If I'm doing TKD, do I still 'carb' up for both cardio and weight traing, just weight training, or cardio only?

Just weight training. The most common structure for a CKD diet is 5-6 days of strict low carb eating(less than 30 gr. or so a day), with a 1-2 day carb loading period of 60-70%. Depleting muscle glycogen is an integral part of this, followed by stimulating mass gains during the weekend fo basically overfeeding. Cardio is used to quickly establish ketosis, and with the TKD diet it should be looked at identically.

I should add other than the "refeed".
