too many carbs?

at lunch today i ate a turkey sandwich, and orange, some corn, a chewy granola bar, and some apple juice. the nutrition caculator says thats kind of a lot of carbs and calories for lunch but its all pretty healthy stuff.

i basically dont know what im doing regarding nutrition stuff so any help would be good

I would dump the Granola bar, and apple juice. Thats where the carbs are coming from and not healthy carbs.

stay away from "manmade sugers"......whoel wheat breads.....and naturals sugers found in friut......not fruit juices...........you may wanna add some more protein to that meal.

the juice didnt have added sugar at least i dont think

they are still empty calories with preservatives

was it luncheon meat or real turkey...deli meats are loaded with fillers....add some more quality protein....less refined carbs...

stay away from juices...most people think they are healthy but actually they are just empty calories/simple carbs...which ruin your diet....

stay away from any products which have 'hydrogenrate/partially hydrogenated soybean/corn/etc oil'.....look under ingedients...they are usually near the top....these are the other names for TRANS fats from which you need to stay away..commonly found in cookies, crackers, chips, annd many of the processed foods, even those you wouldn't think off...

also think of your meals not simply as X amount of carbs but also as X amount of calories....because bottom line it's the net calories that make you gain or lose weight......you need X amount of calories a day for a particular goal...of which ABC has to be carbs, proteins, and fats...etc.
