Is there a limit to how much protein (or other nutrients for that matter) your body can absorb at one time? I'm eating 6 times a day but I'm concerned that if I (somehow) ate 75 grams of protein in one sitting, that I would just poop a lot of it out. I want to absorb as much of this protein I'm eating as possible, so if I have to spread it out, than I'd like to know.
This is a myth.. your body will use all the protein which it gets. It is just recommended that you consume smaller dosages so that your body is not working overtime.
It is like thinking that if you eat too much fats then some won't be absorbed or 'pooped out'. So don't worry about it.. however try to consume between 35-65 grams per sitting.. depending on the amount of meals you are having each day and what your fitness goals are.
