I've been off for 5 weeks now due to a torn muscle in my right forearm, and I'm having a hard time not lifting. I want to get back in there soooo bad already and I almost can't take it anymore. How much longer should I expect to be off? I know I need to wait until I have no pain whatsoever in my arm, but it seems like it has been a long time already. I can't wait to get back into it and see how my muscles will react to the weightlifting again. I'm gonna do a warm up week or two and hop right back into my max OT program. Would that be alright, or should I do another warmup week to get my muscles used to lifting again?

Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from an indomitable will.

mt, I think its important that you mot jump back up to max too quick. I'm doing the recovery thing now ant my physical therapist says high reps and lighter weights are the key. If you injure yourself again starting over won't be fun

Good luck, Charlie
