My nutrition plan says I need a total of 2771 calories a day, protein-208g,carbs-416g,fats-34g..This sure seems like a lot to me right now.. Can someone help explain to me how with my exercise plan eating this much will help me lose weight? Help?????

Despite what a lot of people will tell you, eatting will not make you fat. Eatting junk and being lazy makes you fat. If your not getting enough calories for your body to maintain, it goes into starvation mode which is very bad: Your body stores calories as fat, and eats muscle tissue for enengy.

Your body needs a certain amount of calories a day (something like Bodyweight(lbs)x10 + bodyweight(lbs)/2) to function normally (organs, digestion, regular body functions yadda yadda) add in daily activity, exercise and muscle content (50 calories burned for each lbs of muscle you have) your calorie requirement will go up.

- Its never about how much you can lift, or how many reps you do. Its just about doing it, and doing it right.
- If your hungry all the time, your not eating enough. And anyways, being hungry sucks.
