Hey! I checked out the body builders grocery list and am totally confused now. I have never heard of fibrous carbs, I knew about complex and such. So here is my question the diet thing that this site told me I should do is:

Protein -
131 g .. maximum 10% variance is acceptable
Carbohydrates -
263 g .. maximum 10% variance is acceptable
Fats -
37 g .. maximum 10% variance is acceptable
Total Calories -
1859 .. calculated maximum, do not exceed for current goal

Is there a ratio of complex carbs to fiborus carbs that I should be eating? I know this sounds stupid but really trying to do right.

Any advice is great!

Complex are fibrous. Like a sweet potatoe, oatmeal, 110%whole wheat grain bread, brown rice, (I don't mean chinese style) no white stuff, as that is simple carbs and digest fast.
Hope this helps.

Fibrous usually refers to stuff like broccoli, green beans, asparagus, spinach, etc. - good old green vegetables. These types of carbs are good just about any time in just about any amount since they're loaded with fiber, and very calorically UNdense, plus they have tons of nutrients, antioxidants, vitamins, etc.

Some "complex" carbs like carivan mentioned aren't necessarily fibrous - they still have a very important part in a healthy diet, but stuff like brown rice, whole wheat bread, and sweet potatoes have relatively little fiber and shouldn't be eaten towards the evening unless you've got a raging metabolism. They're also much more calorically dense.
