I've been working out after spinning and I'm not feeling sore the next day like I have worked out. I push myself hard like you are suppose to do, but I'm coming up short. What are some of the reasons for this?

Not feeling sore is not a method to determine a good workout. Maybe the spinning class is warming you up to such a degree that you muscles just do not build up latic acid which cause the soreness. Try a different style of workout!

Also, as your fitnes level increases, so does your lactic acid threshold so you don't feel as much of the burn during/right after a workout.
Are you using your energy up spinning and then not really maxing out like you could if you lifted an alternate day?
What are your goals? If you are after gaining muscle, you might be better off lifting before spin class or on an alternate day.

I spin and lift about 3 days a week M,W,and F. The other remaining days I just lift. I usually go 3 days on and one day off.
