That all depends on what kind of workout you're doing. I think for aerobics/cardio, techno would be very good because of the high energy. For serious weightlifting I like hard metal/rock. I like White Zombie and Rob Zombie but anything that makes you feel like grabbing the guy next to you and putting him through the roof.-------------- "Some people call it insanity, I call it intensity" |

The song I always play to get me pumped up before/during a heavy lift is Godsmack "Whatever". There's a few off of Korn's first album and from Static-X that you may want to check out, too. -------------- --JBennett "I've up-ed my intensity.... now up yours!" Pretty much what the others have said, pretty much anything hard and fast, etc. Some of my favourites are Rage Against the Machine, Nine Inch Nails, Rob Zombie, Disturbed, Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park, Marilyn Manson, Drowning Pool. In particular songs that get me really pumped are: Rage Against the Machine - Wake up, Testify, Guerilla Radio Rob Zombie - More Human than Human Drowning Pool - Let the Bodies HIt the Floor It all depends on your taste of music though. |

For an older song - Locomotive Breath by Jethro Tull is always a good "first song" when I'm on the treadmill. Starts slow, good beat. I'm weird like that.-------------- ~~~~~~~ROXIE~~~~~~~ http://www.mycoffeegirl.com |

Ya know whats good on the treadmill and lasts like 8-9 minutes, Stairway to Heaven...it starts off nice and slow then slowly cranks to a pretty fast paced bangin' tune at the end. Try it.-------------- May the lift be with you. |

When trying to max on deadlifts, a good old Liza Millelli song will make you go that 110%
Just kidding.... some killer songs for lifting for me are "Where Ever I May Roam" by Metallica "Over the Mountain" by Ozzy "The Game" by Motorhead "You could be Mine" by Guns-n-Roses "I Want to Be Somebody" by W.A.S.P. Can you guess that I am a metal head? |
