I was wondering how to build HUGE traps? My work my traps once every other day. My workout routing goes smith machine 4 15 225lbs dumbell 4 15 75lbs dumbell 4 15 65lbs (shoulder blades toghether) If there any other types of workouts please post them. It has gotten to the point that I don't even feel the burn. thank you.

I imagine you do lots of shrugs. Try doing Overhead Press Shrugs, Deadlifts and Cable Pull Shrugs. Also, do you work to failure? If so, then you are probably overtraining since you work on them every other day. Remember, you don't grow in the gym. Cut back to working on them once or twice per week...just make sure you have a few days in between workouts.
Good luck!

My advice is to dump a lot of the differetn shrugs and do reg bar bell shrugs. Go heavy if you can get 225 15 times for 4 sets add weight and lower the reps. I could nto get mine to grow either it ws not till I did heavy deadlifts and shrugs ( I now go over 445 for 8 reps) that I saw any growth. When you do the rep hold it when you go up for 2 secs the release slowly. Hope this helps!

Shrugs are great, but to me upright rows are the very best! Done with good form, they will kill your traps. And only do them twice per week at the most! The more you work them, they will not get bigger, they are a muscle and need time to grow. Sounds like you are constantly tearing them down.
