i have been on creatine for nearly three weeks and read a few good articles about Tribulus. i was wondering if anyone knew if they were safe to take in conjunction, or if i shuold wait for a creatine 'off' cycle to test the tribulus. any ideas?

creatine is not hormonal, it is nutrirional, thus it wouldn't have any effect on the tribulis or vice versa. As far as how good tribulus is, I have no idea, I've actually been curious myself. I've heard before that you can take it continuosly wothout cycling off, is that true?

from what i have read concearing Tribulus it is most effective when cycled. depending on the product, the cycle is completely different. some are 2 weeks on one week off, or 5 days on two days off, and even 8 weeks on, 4 weeks off. sounds like there is not yet enough research done on it yet to say which is best.

Scott, welcome to FT! take a minute to fill out your profile so we know more about you and what your goals are. Also pay attention to the date in the bottom right corner of the thread post, it's the last date it was answered, this one was in apr of 2004. Just so you know.

Couple quick things...
The purpose of a profile is to enable us to tailor our answers based on a set of goals. He was just making a point, so he has no need for a profile, though it might be a good idea to fill it out if he intends to continue posting.
Also, a lot of our memebers find us by doing a web search, and others find posts by doing a fitbuddy search. As such, they do not always turn up the newest posts. We try to be forgiving when we can towards the newer members bringing up older posts.

Trib as a standalone for the most part will dissapoint you. It was and is way overhyped. May get a bit of wood from it, but little else.

Not even sure it will get you that much...I took 1500/2000mg for over a month, and got very little of anything....way too overhyped....it drives me crazy when I read all this crap in magazines and on the net....it's just playing upon newb desires to get quick gains with little effort ....outside of true steroids/prohormones/GH there isn't a single supplement that can do that or even come close...
...I am looking forward to the next big thing from muscletech....:/....with ronnie coleman swearing it's how he got big....or was it the last 100 supplements he endorsed?......since we all know he doesn't juice.....common he said it's against his religious beliefs in one of his videos...
just my usual 20 cents....LOL

good ole ronnie. I don't see how he continues to win competitions as juiced out and with a GH gut like that. I'm really waiting for the day when he gives all that up and gets into powerlifting.

haha...I second that....I can only imagine what he can do .....300@3%...if he blows up to 350-375 at 12-15%......though he's already 40-41, going to be very tough...
