Hey there everyone
Well im 18 years old 5,10 149 pounds i started working out about 10 weeks ago 5 days a week ive yet to miss a day im definatly gaining muscle and i have gained about 5 pounds or so (i started at 144) i can lift more and ive noticed more muscle but im not really gaining a lot of mass my arms are pretty skinny im not sure if its just cause maybe i have small bones (my wrists are tiny) Ive tried eating more lately its hard now that im moved out on my own for college but i still manage to consume around 1300-2500 calories a day, only problem is im a VERY picky eater i generaly stick to french fries, chicken strips,mr.noodle, toast, bacon and pizza that is pretty much all i eat everyday. I imagine that isn't really helping my me build mass but i just need an opinion from someone who has gained mass and knows from experience
thanks for any help

First off 1300 calories isn't enough for my wife at 110 pounds. If you want to gain some mass you need to eat. I think you should strive for 2500 each day, if you fall short don't let it be as low as 1300.
What is your workout plan like? What do you do in a normal week?
And by the way, your choices in food are not the greatest but I think you already know that.

I agree at 18 and lifting that much I am surprised you gained anything.....my advice is to hit 2500 a day to start....I expect that you will have to raise that to 3000 or more. Secondly I too was college kid and ate like you. Best thing I did was dump the meal plan and buy my own food and I got a PT job at a dorm cafteria. I got free meals when I worked.....just a thought.
-------------- As a quarter squatter was dominating the rack, I heard a conversation between an old powerlifter (easily in his 60\\'s) and what I would guess was his grandson (15-yrs old):
Kid: \\"So, why does he stop so short on his squats? That looks weird to me.\\"
Old PL\\'er: \\"He\\'s afraid if he squats deep, his vagina might touch the ground.\\"
