Ok, so yesterday I was really on the ball with my leg workout and after completing my squatting and other exercises I moved onto somesumo style deadlifts. I wasnt even lifting all that much, just around 225lbs when in the 3rd set i felt a sharp pain below my abdominals but above my genitals. It really freaked me out. The worst thing is I know that I had absolutely perfect form! Everyone watching said it was perfect! So anyway, is it possible i temporarily pulled or strained something? Or is that not an area I can do that sort of thing in? I dont see a ball protrudingor anythingbut I dont really know what the signs are and web research has not really been much help. Anybody have some help for me? Im kinda scared to do my straight leg deadlifts on friday now! Please! Anybody!

Thats a bad spot for an injury, & you dont want to fool around wiht a hernia, trust me they only get worse. Best advice, see your doctor.

Can I still do seated upper body lifts? Like a bench or shoulder press? How about standing? IE shrugs. Also abs, is that pushing it?
