i'm an ovo-lacto (eggs and dairy) vegetarian and am having a difficult time finding foods that are high in protein but low in fat. any suggestions?

Well either way you should be able to eat egg beaters right? They have a good amount of protein.

ovo-lacto means that you eat dairy and eggs, but no red meat, poultry, etc.

Meatless meat products usually have a good amount of protein. Don't forget the cottage cheese. Also lentils and beans in general.

just out of curiosity, is there a brand of protein shake you recommend? what about those boost or ensure shakes?
