Hi,
This is my second day with FT trying to lose some 20 extra pounds and become more fit. And boy am I hurting with every move after starting my workout yesterday :). But it's a good burn when you know you've worked them muscles! Love the site!

However, I'm having trouble with matching my nutrition requirements. I'm a vegetarian although not vegan. And I can't seem to match my protein requiremnets (120 g a day) without cruising way past my fat target intake (19.5g a day)
Can someone suggest some inexpensive, vegetarian, hi-protein, low fat foods? Thanks a ton and JUST DO IT!

Hmmm please take a look in the nutrition section, we've had the same question many times.

Basically the answer is egg whites, tofu and beans!!!

HEllo,
My x-wife was a vegetarian, and I learned how to pack in protein without meat (I still ate meat, but only about twice a week). Look into all those morningstar farms/grillers/etc., some aren't half bad for protein intake (welll, some have around 8-10 grams a serving, nothing like meat but it's better than rice balls). And eat egg whites with every meal.
Being a vegetarian just isn't what it used to be. I had a veggie riblet sandwhich the other day that tasted quite similar to a mc'rib sandwich. It came in around 6 grams of fat or so...jeesh with food like that who needs meat?
