i am 5'6, and 14 years old.

i can touch the bottom of the net on a regulation 10' bball rim

how can i increase my vertical jump??

i have ankle weights, but i dont use them becuase someone told me they are not good for your legs.

any suggestions on exercises i can do that dont need lots of different weights and machines?

To develop your vertical, do don't need lots of special gear; just really basic and simple stuff, as well as patience and dedication. That being said, take a look over in the Strength Training Thread. There are several discussions relating to sports conditioning.
