Well I have been doing weights and aerobics very concientiously now for 8 weeks. I threw out the scales increased my protein intake by getting some protein isolate powder and alas I still measure the same!!!!!!!!!

My diet has been good I try to keep my proteins around 35-40% fat around 25-30% and carbs around 30-35%. I lift as heavy as I can even use weights on my chest for abdominals. I do squats with weights and lunges with weights dead rows etc etc.

This is sooooo discouraging that this past few days I have been binging on some chocolate left around from easter.

Does anyone have any ideas to kick start something happening?

If you fill out your profile with your personal info, it would be easier to help you. You might want to check your diet. It is extremely important when it comes to weight training. Also, what does your training schedule look like? You could be overtraining and defeating yourself.

How do you feel in your clothes?
8 weeks is not a long time to change everything. Your body will respond, don't worry, but you'll need patience.
No don't start eating junk now........

i was in the same boat recently and tried adding HIIT to my cardio session. do a search in ft community--related articles. it's toward the end of the lists. it may help jump start your measurements.
good luck

Yeah I read about the HIIT thing on here a couple of weeks ago and I have tried to make a couple of my cardios incorparate it.
Not sure I am doing it right.

In a twenty minute work out I try to take my heart rate up to 80% max at least threee or four times and then down to 65 70% for the rest. I will look it up again cause I am deperate.

Thanx

Different people have different reaction times. You may find yourself not seeing much improvement now, but one day it will start dropping and won't stop and you will be amazed. Do not get discouraged. Keep doing what you are doing and try doing the HITT.

Thanks everyone. I am definitely going to try the HIIT program it works well with my schedule since I work out at lunch time. Thanks for digging it up for me RavenWolf.

The Yogurt is sweetened with Splenda it is supposedly sucrose that is chemically altered so that it is calorie free. Tastes awesome.

Just did an really tough leg work oiut and my legs feel like jello. I'm not going to give up!!!!!!!!!!!!

ufo, from my past experience with weight loss, it has taken me anywhere from 10 to 14 weeks before it started shedding off. Don't give up! I know it sucks for women cause it seems the men lose a lot faster, but patience and discipline will get you there!!
