it's been close to a year since I started working out, and 6 months since fitness/weight training became my number one hobby. I lost a ridiculous amount of weight and managed to build a ton of muscle while doing it. I work out in a local YMCA and decided because their facilities had given me the opertunity to remold my body I felt it was only right that I volunteer and contribute something back. I told them my brief story and why I wanted to contribute and they were amazed and suggested I do some work on the fitness floor. I'm handing in my application tommorow but man am I excited if they give me this oppertunity. I made America 1 person less obese, now hopefully I can help others.

I'm a bit nervous though, I don't want to give any misleading advice so I'm just reading up on every article/book I can get my hands on (even caused me to rework my training/diet a bit!) I'm definently going to refer people to this website it's been a highly valuable resource.

that is great
I don't have a YMCA here so you are very lucky to be able to go there in the first place. I wish they could add some to smaller towns
